Who are Ahlulbayt,narration,proof
To be a Muslim, you have to believe that there is only one God, Allah, who created the entire universe, and that Muhammad (peace be upon him) is His final messenger on earth.

The Bedouins say, ‘We have believed.’ Say, ‘You have not [yet] believed; but say [instead], ‘We have submitted,’ for faith has not yet entered your hearts. And if you obey Allah and His Messenger, He will not deprive you from your deeds of anything. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.'”

— Surah Al-Hujurat (49:14)

The believers are only those who believe in Allah and His Messenger, and afterward doubt not, but strive with their wealth and their lives for the cause of Allah. Those are the truthful.”

— Surah Al-Hujurat (49:15)

To be a Mu’min, you can’t doubt the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). You can’t take His words lightly; you have to accept everything He has said and told us to follow.

  • What did he tell us about Ahlulbayt?

Narrated Zaid bin Arqam, may Allah be pleased with both of them:

“Indeed, I am leaving among you that which if you hold fast to them, you shall not be misguided after me. One of them is greater than the other: The Book of Allah is a rope extended from the sky to the earth, and my family – the people of my house – and they shall not split until they meet at the Hawd, so look at how you deal with them after me.”

— Jami at-Tirmidhi 3788, Sahih

Proof?

Narrated ‘Umar bin Abi Salamah – the step-son of the Prophet (ﷺ):

“When these Ayat were revealed to the Prophet (ﷺ): ‘Allah only wishes to remove the Rijs from you, O members of the family, and to purify you with a thorough purification…’ (33:33) in the home of Umm Salamah, he called for Fatimah, Hasan, Husain, and wrapped them in a cloak, and ‘Ali was behind him, so he wrapped him in the cloak, then he said: ‘O Allah! These are the people of my house, so remove the Rijs from them, and purify them with a thorough purification.'”

— Jami at-Tirmidhi 3787, Sahih

It has been narrated on the authority of Jabir b. Samura who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: Islam will continue to be triumphant until there have been twelve Caliphs. Then the Prophet (ﷺ) said something which I could not understand. I asked my father: What did he say? He said: He has said that all of them (twelve Caliphs) will be from the Quraish.
